Nancy Tancey Buscher is a resident of Osprey, Florida.

 

She formed Buscher Consultants after graduating Eckerd College's Program for Experienced Learners with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010. It has become the venue for various entrepreneurial services.

NANCY'S HISTORY

 

She is the author of 10 books for children to age 10 - seven of which she illustrated - a gift book, several catalogs, and she edited an anthology of Florida Poets and Writers.

Before moving to Florida, Nancy lived in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was a WGA Signatory Agent promoting screenwriters to the film industry. This was also under the name Buscher Consultants, and where she and two other writers also wrote advertising for local businesses.

​

Her children's play, The Raggedy Balloon Man was 1 of 12 plays from across the nation to win the first South Carolina Playwrights Conference held in Beaufort, South Carolina, That same year her children's play The Cat-Astrophe was produced for Piccolo-Spoleto, Charleston, South Carolina's, annual cultural festival. 

 

While in South Carolina, Ms. Buscher was nominated three times for the Elizabeth O’Neill Verner Award, South Carolina’s prestigious arts award.​

 

Ms. Buscher is co-founder and president of ABC-Artisans of Books, a writers' networking association that helps traditionally and independently published writers market their books.
